The Classic 2 tent is the same Ontario-made canvas shelter found across the Classic 2 lineup, built from 10.10 oz Sunforger army duck cotton canvas with double-sewn, flat-felled seams and full compliance with Canadian tent and fire safety standards. The stove pipe ring on the front right side wall is what sets the Classic 2 apart from the original, and the Ontario 2's adjustable elbow pipe is designed specifically for this kind of angled stack configuration. That setup keeps the pipe exit away from the tent fabric, reducing creosote ember contact without requiring a spark arrestor. The 10' x 10' floor plan sleeps three to four with a stove running and pitches without a pole kit.

The Ontario 2 stove, made by Kni-Co, is the lightest option in Esker's stove lineup at 8.9 kg packed. The 25.7 L burn chamber is well suited to heating a 10' x 10' space efficiently, and the damper and air intake door give you straightforward control over burn rate and temperature. Snow float legs accept branches or poles on site, and all pipes stow inside the box for transport.
